What this is
The Worst Creature in the World is a short interactive experience about being a horse and trying to find god in a hole in the desert after getting banished from horse society.
theme
If we had the chance to get all the answers to the senseless things that happens in our lives, would we be able to understand them? Would it even change anything?
process
My focus for this project was mainly the animations, and creating different styles that would add to the absurdity and meaning of the story, as well as just visual gags that make me laugh. The initial goal of this game was just to “educate” people on how strange and weird the behaviour and biology of horses are, but it eventually evolved into a deeply emotional and personal piece about not understanding why things happen in your life. Oops!
